The Iowa Office of Energy Independence awards Flex Fuel U.S. a $47,000 grant. View the press release here.

Flex Fuel, located in the North Iowa Business Incubator on the North Iowa Area Community College campus, will receive $47,332. The money will be used to install 25 flex fuel conversion kits on vehicles owned and operated by the Iowa Department of Transportation; the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff's Department; and the Clear Lake, Charles City and Mason City police departments.

The GSA(General Services Administration) has issued a GSA schedule award to Flex Fuel U.S. which means federal fleets can now purchase flex fuel conversion systems for their fleets.
